Passage Migrant birds in India

Image
Every year, a special group of birds called passage migrants travel through India during autumn and spring as they journey from Central and East Asia to Africa. These birds avoid the hot and cold seasons, stopping in India to rest and eat. Gujarat and Rajasthan are popular spots for this migration, with many birds passing through from August to October. Kachchh in Gujarat is especially important for this, attracting around eight different species like the European Roller, Common Cuckoo, and Blue-cheeked Bee-eater. People who love watching birds find Kachchh a great place to see these birds during their journey.
