When you are doing birding with your friends
and family, it gives u lot pleasure than just doing alone. In winter we visited
the Blackbuck National Park, Velavadar in beginning when park open. We generally
see lots of Harriers in Velavadar, as this place is the largest roosting site
of harriers in Asia. But other than birds it is also popular destination for mammals.
Not the big cats but fascinating sighting of Indian Wolf and Striped hyena
is normal here. This year we search for Indian Wolf and we were lucky to found
two Grey Wolf near water hole. Water is dripping out of their fur. After bath
they just disappeared in the grassland. This predator is at the top of foodchain
in region. They are the King of Velavadar Grassland.
